The chair even has an old shipping ticket stuck in the bottom for added authenticity!
It has a wood and ply back with a 3-position recliner adjustment bar, arms with "barley twist" fronts, and turned "feet".
It measures approximately 60cm wide x 83cm deep x 84cm high.
The chair is in excellent condition for its age, and has had minimal restoration done on it. A couple of wear areas have had a very light traditional oil-based stainer applied, but most of its original patina has been left intact.
Included with the chair are two new hand-made cushions and covers, one for the back and one for the front. The covers are removable, should you need to wash them, and the cushions are very comfortable.

Without the extension pieces it seats 6 people, by adding one it seats 8, and by adding both of them it seats 10-12. And even better, when not in use it can be separated and "folded down" into pieces for storage - as you can see in the final photograph.
So with this table you get the very best of all worlds; an item which can be used as a dining table for day-to-day use, expanded into a "banqueting" table for those times when you have friends and family over, or placed out of the way in a spare room if space is needed. The table's frame is made of wood, and the top is wood/veneer. The top has been lightly re-coated with quality varnish to bring it back to its former glory. As you would expect with refurbished pieces of furniture there are a couple of areas showing wear and tear, but they just add to the vintage character.

The table measures approximately 74.5cm deep (front-to-back) by 118cm wide by 73.5cm high, and can be dismantled (the legs unbolt from the table top's frame) for easy transportation and storage - giving you the option to save space when it is not in use.

The chair frames are made of a wooden material, and have been refurbished and repainted by hand with multiple coats of quality white eggshell emulsion paint. The base of the chairs are made of springs.
The base and back cushions are made of foam material with a removable brown cover. These have all been recovered with hand-made removable (for washing etc) top-covers made of a light-beige calico material. So you could use the chairs either with its original brown-colour cushions or with the top-covers as seen in the photographs.

The top has been lightly sanded and then refinished with multiple coats of pine-colour varnish, and the base has been hand-painted in a rich cream colour using high-quality "Zoffany" paint. It measures approximately 146cm wide by 73.5cm deep by 74.5cm high.
The table comes with 6 gorgeous "spindle-back" chairs which have been hand-painted in the same cream-coloured Zoffany paint.
The top of the table can be removed from the base for transportation or storage by unbolting it from the base at four points. Once the top has been removed, the base in turn "breaks down" into four separate pieces for easy storage (there are wooden "wedges" which hold it together and which can be quickly removed).
Please note that the runner, cushions and flower-jug in the photographs are not included - for sale are just the table and 6 chairs.

It has four round metal legs, which screw into the underside of the table and thus can be quickly removed for transportation or storage. At its widest parts the table top measures approximately 75cm wide by 120cm long. The height of the table (floor to top of table) is approximately 61.5cm.
All four legs and the table top have been freshly re-painted with professional quality white eggshell emulsion paint.
The tables comes with two chairs which are of wooden construction and have round-shaped legs which compliment the table. The chairs have been re-painted in the same paint as the table-top and the seats have been newly re-upholstered in a "dash silk" material with a funky striped pattern.

It can be used in two ways, either without the middle piece (making it circular with an approx 108cm diameter) in which case it seats four people. Or you can put the middle piece in (making it an oval/elliptical shape approximately 108cm x 161cm) in which case it comfortably seats six.
This makes it very versatile. You could use it as a four-seater for most of the time and then extend it out to a six-seater for special occaisions, or if you have a large family then you could just leave it set up as a six-seater all of the time.
The chair backs have a pretty design carved into them, and the chairs tuck completely under the table.
The table legs bolt into metal pieces on the table frame, and so should be removable for transportion.
Although there are four chairs included, I do have two other ones in a quite similar style - so if the buyer wanted them then I would be willing (for an additional cost of course) to paint them to match.
